SOFTWARE AGREEMENT WITH OK A.M.B.A.

OK a.m.b.a., the largest distributor of gasoline in Denmark, has chosen Mermaid to become the partner for a large digital project, which involves 680 petrol stations in Denmark.

The deal with OK a.m.b.a. has many interesting perspectives for Mermaid. As gas pump advertising allows retailers to inform and engage customers without much interference, the digital signage industry is much aware of this fast growing market.

The relevance and utility of a digital TV network in the fuel space has already been proved in the U.S., where retailers perceive the media to be an important and relevant communication platform useful for reaching a high number of consumers, and gaining customer loyalty through targeted advertising.

The deal with OK a.m.b.a. defines Mermaid as software supplier and manifests OK a.m.b.a.’s confidence and trust in Mermaid as a solid provider of digital signage solutions. Hence, OK Plus, part of OK a.m.b.a. already uses Mermaid’s digital signage hardware, software and content.

The agreement between OK a.m.b.a. and Mermaid means that the possibility to combine the two networks inside the shop and at the pumps will be present. This combination can add serious value to creative campaigns, were a dialogue started at the pump can continue within the shop.

Mermaid’s product development is based on the vision to incorporate digital signage solutions within our customers existing systems, regardless of which type they may be – a specific cash terminal, a video game console or petrol stations.
